Kansas City Lyric Opera
Kindergarten- 3rd grade will enjoy an assembly this November by the Kansas City Lyric Opera. 28 Students will have the opportunity to get on stage and work with the cast and perform in the production “The Coyotes and the Rabbits” during the assembly at school.
Fourth- sixth grade will also experience the Kansas City Lyric Opera in February, where 28 students will have the opportunity to work with the cast. They will perform “She Never Lost a Passenger,” which follows the story of Harriet Tubman.

This year the 5th grade class will take a field trip on April 30th to the Kauffman Center to experience working with the Orchestra in Helzburg Hall. Students will play recorders alongside of the professional musicians while learning about musicality and professionalism in this interactive experience.
